Built in 2013, by Washburn and Doughty Associates of East Boothbay, Maine (hull #108) as the Partriot for Marine Towing of Tampa of Tampa, Florida.
Powered by two, Tier III compliant Caterpillar 3516B diesel engines. With two, Rolls-Royce US205 z drives. Outfitted with 94(in) stainless steel propellers.
The tug's electrical service is provided by two 99kW generators, driven by two John Deere diesel engines. Her capacities are 38,000 gallons of fuel, 4,000 gallons of water, and 1,100 gallons of lube oil.
The towing equipment conists of a JonRie 220 double drum hydraulic hawser winch with automatic recovery on each drum. Both drums are outfitted 450(ft) of soft line. And a, JonRie 512 hydraulic towing winch on the stern outfitted with 2,100(ft) of soft line.
She is outfitted with a FiFi 1 rating with two FFS 1200 long barrel monitors, as well as a deluge system.Both are capable of producing 5,284 Gallons Per Minute. Driven by a FFS model SFP 300 by 400 pump. Powered by a 1,300 horsepower Caterpillar C32 engine.
