Founded in 1968, the Settoon Towing Company specializes in liquid cargo transportation for the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. Throughout the inland waterways in the United States.
In 2017, Savage Inland Marine Incorporated, a subsidiary of the Savage Companies of Salt Lake City, Utah acquired the Settoon Towing Company's bulk division. That included thirty-five towboats, and sixty-three liquid tank barges.
