Built in 1977, by Crumpler's Shipbuilding Incorporated of Orange, Texas (hull #815) as the Gator for the Louisiana Dock Company Incorporated of Jeffersonville, Indiana.

In 2004, the tug was acquired by the Crofton Diving Corporation of Portsmouth, Virginia. Where she was renamed as the Bunny C.

She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 800 horsepower.
