Built in 1979, by Terrebonne Shipbuilders Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #19) as the Coastal Pensacola for the Coastal Tug and Barge Company of Miami, Florida

In 2009, the tug was acquired by Transmontaigne Product Carriers Incorporated of Denver, Colorado. Where she was renamed as the Pensacola

In 2009, the tug was acquired by Teppco Marine Services of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2009, she was acquired by Enterprise Marine Services of Houma, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she retained her name.

She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,200 horsepower.
