Built in 1963, by the American Marine Corporation of New Orleans, Louisiana (hull #852) as the W.C. Smith.

In 1990, the tug was acquired by the Coastal Tug and Barge Company of Miami, Florida. Where she was renamed as the Coastal Biscayne.

In 2009, the tug was acquired by Transmontaigne Product Carriers Incorporated of Denver, Colorado. Where she was renamed as the Biscayne.

In 2009, the tug was acquired by Teppco Marine Services of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2009, she was acquired by Enterprise Marine Services of Houma, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she retained her name.

In 2013, she was acquired by Diversified Environmental Services Incorporated of Tampa, Florida. Where the tug was renamed as the Miss Bel.

In 2015, the tug went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 1,800 horsepower.
