Built in 1991, by Verret Shipyard Incorporated Plaquemine, Louisiana (hull #49) as the Pontiac for Traylor Brothers Incorporated of Evansville, Indiana.

In 2014, the tug was leased by Tappan Zee Constructors of Terrytown, New York. Where she retained her name.

In 2020, she was returned to Traylor Brothers Incorporated of Evansville, Indiana. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, Cummins 6CT8.3 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 3:1. Turning two, stainless steel fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 470 horsepower.
