Built in 1988, by Marine Inland Fabricators Incorporated of Panama City, Florida (hull #88) as the George W. Johnson

The tug was later sold, where she was renamed as the Mighty Max. And, then as the Fiddler.

She was eventually acquired by Wittich Marine Incorporated of Bayonne, New Jersey. Where the tug was renamed as the River Wolf.

In 2010, the tug went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown. She was powered by two, Detroit Diesel 6-71 diesel engines. Turning two, cast steel, fixed pitch propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 400 horsepower.
