Built in 1994, by the Cenac Shipyard Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #18) as the Lydia Cenac for the Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.

In 2008, the tug was acquired by Teppco Marine Services Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2009, she was acquired by Enterprise Marine Services Incorporated of San Antonio, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Lydia.

Powered by three, Cummins KTA19-M4 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 7:1. Turning three, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a triple screw towboat, rated at 2,100 horsepower.
