WEEZIE CENAC

Built in 2014, by Intracoastal Iron Works Incorporated of Bourg, Louisiana (hull #156) as the Weezie Cenac for the Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.

In 2019, the Cenac Towing Company was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Shell Beach.

Powered by two, Cummins K38M diesel engines. Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.3:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 2,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW, generator sets. The tug's capacities are 18,538 gallons of fuel, 730 gallons of lube oil, and 10,250 gallons of water.
