Built in 2011, by Intracoastal Iron Works Incorporated of Bourg, Louisiana (hull #142) as the J.H. Cenac for the Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana.
In 2018, the tug was acquired by Magnolia Tugs Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Wood River.
Powered by two, Cummins KTA 38 M1 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.3:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,800 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW, generator sets. The tug's capacities are 18,620 gallons of fuel, 200 gallons of lube oil, and 10,240 gallons of water.
