The tug was then acquired by an individual, Perry Alexis of Venice, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Lady October.
In 1996, she was acquired by the Gonsoulin Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Katie Gonsoulin
In 2002, the tug was acquired W.M.P. Investments Company of Landsdowne, Pennsylvania. Where she was renamed as the Miss Sharlee.
In 2002, she was eventually acquired by Double Eagle Marine of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
In 2010, the was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Miss Sharlee.
In 2014, she was acquired by Crown Point Boat Rentals Incorporated Crown Point, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Ally Kat.
In 2017, the tug went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown.
Re powered in 1996, she was driven by two, Detroit Diesel 8V-71 diesel engines. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 600 horsepower.
Her electrical service was provided by two, 30kW generator sets. The tug's capacities were 6,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 3,000 gallons of potable water.
