DELTA FALCON

Built in 1978, by DH and D Iron Works Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana (hull #2) as the Timmy B. for G and B Marine Incorporated of Beaumont, Texas.

The tug was later acquired by Double Eagle Marine Incorporated. Where she was renamed as the Ruby Eagle.

In 2004, she was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Delta Falcon.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2012, she was acquired by J. Sercovich Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, GM 12V71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc MG 514 reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.5:1. Turning two, 44(in) by 48(in) by 6(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated 900 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 20kW generator sets. Driven by two, GM 3-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 14,000 gallons of fuel oil, 165 gallons of lube oil, 2,000 gallons of potable water and 15,500 gallons of drill water.

The tug's towing gear consists of two, 20 ton, Parker, hand operated winches. Outfitted 7/8(in) wire.
