Built in 1951, by G.M. Nichols Boat Works of Hood River, Oregon (hull #53) as the Bogene for Roland E. Brusco of Rainier, Oregon.

In 1989, the tug was transferred to the ownership the Brusco Tug and Barge Company Incorporated of Longview, Washington. Where she retained her name.

The tug was eventually phased put of active service. And, was "laid-up" at the Brusco Tug and Barge Company's yard in Cathlamet, Washington.

She was a twin screw tug, rated at 220 horsepower.
