PACIFIC TITAN

Built in 1977 by the Pacific Towboat and Salvage Company of Long Beach, California as the Pacific Titan for in-house use.

Pacific Towboat and Salvage operated as a component of the Dillingham Corporation of Seattle, Washington. As part of a restructuring in 1986, along with all other Dillingham maritime transportation operations, the company was placed under the Foss Maritime umbrella.

In 1987, Foss Maritime and its subsidiaries were acquired by Saltchuk Resources Incorporated of Seattle, Washington.

In 1997, the tug was acquired by the Gimrock Construction Company of Hialeah, Florida. Where she was renamed as the Gimrock Titan.

In 2007, she was acquired by Global International Marine Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Titan. However, Global International Marine was later acquired by the Offshore Tugs Corporation of Vero Beach, Florida. Where the tug retained her name.
