Built in 1982, by Janoush Marine Incorporated of Rosedale, Mississippi (hull #12) as the Dixie Triumph for Dixie Marine Incorporated of Houston, Texas.

In 1998, the tug was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she retained her name.

In 2009, she was acquired by the River Assets Company Elizabethtown, Illinois. Where the tug was renamed as the James Spivey.

In 2014, the tug was acquired by the Cooper Marine and Timberlands Corporation of Mobile, Alabama. Where she was renamed as the Rosinton.

Powered by two, GM 12-645E2 diesel engines. She is a twin screw, towboat, rated at 3,200 horsepower.
