Built in 1976, by the Grafton Boat Company of Grafton, Illinois (hill #599/86) as the Iron Charger.

In 1991, the tug was sold. Where she was renamed as the Bud Operle.

In 1994, she was acquired by Coastal Towing Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Kenny New.

In 2003, the tug was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Tiny Sanderson.

In 2020, she was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at Houston, Texas.

Powered by two, GM 8-645E2 diesel engines. With Falk reduction gears, at a ratio of 3.24:1. She was a twin screw, towboat with kort nozzles, rated at 1,800 horsepower.
