Built in 1980, the by Louis G. Ortis Boat Company of Krotz Springs, Louisiana (hull #90) as the Sand Piper for Sand Dollar Marine Incorporated of Foley, Alabama.

The tug was later sold. And, renamed as the Lil Henry.

In 1986, she was sold. Where she was renamed the Carol Fenn.

In 1993, the tug was acquired by the Cenac Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Mannie Cenac.

In 2004, she was acquired by the Horizon Maritime Company of Houston, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Saint Crispin.

In 2009, the tug was acquired by Teppco Marine Services Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2009, she was acquired by Enterprise Marine Services Incorporated of San Antonio, Texas. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she retained her name.

Powered by two, Cummins KTA38-M0 diesel engines. She is a twin screw, towboat, rated at 1,700 horsepower.
