CAPTAIN FRANK

Built in 1991 by Main Iron Works of Houma, Louisiana as the Captain Frank for Odyssea Vessels of Berwick, Louisiana.

In 2011, she was acquired by Robbins Maritime of Norfolk, Virginia, where the tug was renamed as the Delta.

In 2011 the tug was repowered with two Cummins QSK38-M diesels with MG540 6:1 reduction gear, turning two 4-blade stainless steel 80 (in) by 81 (in) propellors in kort nozzles, for a rated 3,000 horsepower.

Electrical service is provided by 2 30kW generators. Her capacities are 24,000 gallons of fuel oil, 550 gallons of lube oil, and 5,000 gallons of potable water.

Her towing equipment consists of an Amcon 385 double drum winch fitted with 2,500 (ft) of 1 & 1/2 (in) wire.
