NEPTUNE

Built in 1956, by Gunderson Marine Incorporated of Portland, Oregon as the Neptune for the Dahl Tug and Barge Company of Seattle, Washington.

In 2004, the tug was acquired by Keppel International Limited of Singapore. Where she was renamed as the Neptune I . And, was transferred to the Ecuador flag for service in support of Ecuadorian fish farms.

In 2009, she was acquired by Imi del Ecuador SA of Guayaquil, Ecuador. Where she retained her name. She was powered by a single, Caterpillar 3516 Diesel engine. Rated at 1,700 horsepower.
