Built in 1905, by A.C. Brown and Son of Tottenville, New York as the Edwin Brandow.

The tug was later acquired by the Meseck Towing and Transportation Company of New York, New York. Where the tug was renamed as the Walter L. Meseck.

She was then acquired by the Olsen Water and Towing Company of New York, New York. Where the tug was renamed as the Margaret Olsen.

In 1950, the tug was acquired by the Moran Towing Company of New York, New York. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1955, she was dismantled. She was a single screw tug, rated at 550 horsepower.
