Built in 1999, by Washburn and Doughty Associates of East Boothbay, Maine (hull #66) as the Marci Moran for the Moran Towing Corporation of New Canaan, Connecticut.

Named for Marci Brown Tregurtha. Wife of Edward Tregurtha, President of the Moran Towing Corporation.

She was the first tractor tug built for the Moran Towing Corporation by Washburn and Doughty. And, the eighth tractor tug placed in service to the Moran Towing Corporation.

Powered by two, sixteen cylinder, EMD L16-645-DE6 diesel engines. With two Ulstein z-drives for a rated 4,100 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 50kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 39,097 gallons of fuel, 12,416 gallons of ballast, and 1,849 gallons of fresh water.
