CINCINNATI STAR

Built in 1969, by the Nashville Bridge Company of Nashville, Tennessee, as the Marine for the Marine Transport Company of St. Louis, Missouri.

In 1978, the tug was acquired by the Inland Oil and Transport Company of St. Louis, Missouri. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1990, she was acquired by Midland Enterprises Incorporated of Cincinnati, Ohio. Where she was renamed as the the Cincinnati Star.

In 2002, she was acquired by Grifco Transportation Limited of Houston, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Gayolyn Ann Griffin.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Genesis Marine Company of Houston, Texas. Where she retained her name.

In 2015, she was acquired by the Whitetail Vessel Company of Paducah, Kentucky. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, GM 12-645 E5 diesel engines. With Falk reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.074:1. Turning two, 108(in) by 82(in) fixed pitch propellers. For a rated 4,200 horsepower.

The tug's electrical service is provided by two Detroit 671 generators. Her capacities are 44,403 gallons of fuel oil, 850 gallons of lube oil, 10,000 gallons of potable water, and 20,000 gallons of sanitary water.
