ISLAND RUSTLER

Built in 1967, by BC Marine of Vancouver, British Columbia (hull #12) as the Island Rustler for Island Tug and Barge Limited of Vancouver, British Columbia. A subsidiary of McAllister Towing Limited Montreal of Montreal.

In 1969, Island Tug and Barge Limited was acquired by Genstar Limited of Vancouver, British Columbia. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1971, Genstar Limited partnered with the Dillingham Corporation to merge Island Tug and Barge with the Vancouver Tug Boat Company, creating Seaspan Marine Incorporated of Vancouver, British Columbia. Where the tug was renamed as the Seaspan Rustler.

In 1993, she was acquired by the Rustler Towing Company Limited of Richmond, British Columbia. Where the tug was renamed as the Rustler II.

In 1999, the tug was acquired by Gisbourne Marine Services Limited of Surrey, British Columbia. Where she retained her name.

In 2011, she was acquired by Thunder Bay Tugs Limited of Powell River, Canada. Where the tug was renamed as the Jervis Titan. She is a single screw tug, rated at 522 horsepower.
