GRACE McALLISTER (1908)

Built in 1908, by Manitowoc Shipbuilding of Manitowoc, Wisconsin (hull #23) as the fireboat Graeme Stewart for the City of Chicago, Illinois.

In 1942, she was acquired by Sincennes-McNaughton Line Limited of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Where the vessel was converted for use as a towing vessel, and retained her name.

In 1959, the tug was acquired by McAllister Towing Limited of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. A subsidiary of the McAllister Brothers Towing Company of New York, New York. Where she was renamed as the Grace McAllister.

In 1963, she was acquired by McAllister-Pyke Salvage Limited of Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Where the tug was renamed as the Graeme Stewart.

In 1971, the tug was scrapped.
