Built in 1962, by Marine Industries Incorporated of Georgetown, South Carolina as the Kathy Ann II for Marine Industries of Georgetown, South Carolina.

However, the tug was later renamed as the Brunswick.

In 1989, she was acquired by the McAllister Brothers Towing Company of New York, New York. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1991, the tug was acquired by an individual named David Keller. Where she was renamed as the Jason.

She is no longer in documentation. Her current and or final disposition is unknown. The tug was single screw, rated at 500 horsepower.
