BRYCE BEYEL

Built in 1950, by Port Houston Iron Works of Houston, Texas (hull #153) as the Dorothy McAllister for the McAllister Brothers Towing Company of New York, New York.

In 1999, the tug was acquired by Beyel Brothers Incorporated of Cocoa, Florida. Where she was renamed as the Bryce Beyel.

In 2001, The tug was cleaned and scuttled. She was a single screw tug. Originally rated at 1,600 horsepower. The tug was repowered in 1976, for a rated 1,800 horsepower.
