Built in 2014, by SENESCO Marine of North Kingstown, Rhode Island (hull #301) as the Eric McAllister for the McAllister Towing and Transportation Company of New York, New York.

Named for fifth generation family member, and McAllister Towing and former Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Eric M. McAllister.

Powered by two, Tier III compliant, Caterpillar 3516CHD diesel engines. She was the second Tier III compliant tug in McAllister Towing's fleet. With Lufkin gearboxes, turning two, Schottel SRP1215 z-drives. She is a twin screw tractor tug, rated at 5,150 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 99kW generator sets. Driven by two, John Deere diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 30,000 gallons of fuel, 6,150 gallons of potable water, and 14,314 gallons of fresh water ballast.

The towing equipment consists of a JonRie 250, single drum, escort winch. With full render/recover capabilities mounted on the bow. Outfitted with 450(ft) of Saturn 12 hawser, with 100(ft) of Saturn 12 backer line.
