Built in 1968, by McDermott Shipyards Incorporated of Morgan City, Louisiana (hull #154) as the Carl Ray for SeaBoats Incorporated of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

In 2006, she was acquired by Hunt Marine Incorporated of Narragansett, Rhode Island. Where she was renamed as the Victoria Hunt.

In 2011, the tug went out of documentation when she was acquired by undisclosed interests based in Belize. Where the tug retained her name. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 3,200 horsepower.
