CROSBY GLORY

Built in 1981, by Melancon Fabricators Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana (hull #7) as the Great Gulf I for the Great Gulf Towing Company of Cut Off, Louisiana.

In 2006, the tug was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Crosby Glory.

In 2016, she went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown.

She was powered by two, Caterpillar 3412C diesel engines. With a 7:1 reduction, turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers, mounted kort nozzles. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 3,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service was provided by two, 40kW generator sets. The tug's capacities were 32,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 12,000 gallons of potable water.

Tug tug's towing equipment consisted of a single drum, Smatco 44K DPS 75, anchor handling winch.
