Built in 2009, by Gulfbound Incorporated of Chauvin, Louisiana (hull #102) as the Gladiator for Dragnet Seafood Incorporated of Chauvin, Louisiana.

In 2010, she was acquired by Crosby Marine Transportation of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Capt. Webster. And, the vessel was reconfigured as a towing vessel.

Powered by two, Cummins KTA 19 diesel engines. With reduction gears, at a ratio of a 5:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 1,200 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW generator sets. The tug's capacities are 12,000 gallons of fuel oil, and 18,000 gallons of potable water.
