Built in 1968, by the Gulfport Shipbuilding Corporation of Port Arthur, Texas (hull #699) as the Johnny Brown for Higman Barge Lines Incorporated of Orange, Texas.

In 2013, the tug was acquired by the Devall Towing Company of Sulpher, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Gracie Devall.

In 2021, she was acquired by Coral Marine Services LLC. of Morgan City, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Jenna D.

In 2025, the tug was acquired by Miller's Tug and Launch Incorporated of Staten Island, New York. Where she was renamed as the Nicole V. Miller.

She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,000 horsepower.
