Powered by two Mitsubishi 6R2 diesel engines. With Reintjes WAF 570 reduction gears at a ratio of 5.38:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,600 horsepower.

The tug's capacities are 16,500 gallons of fuel, and 480 gallons of lube oil.

Her towing equipment consists of two Patterson 40-ton deck winches, mounted on the bow.
