Built in 1975, by Master Marine Incorporated of Bayou LaBatre, Alabama (hull #174) as the Miss Allison for the Spanier Marine Corporation of Harvey, Louisiana.
In 1987, the tug was acquired by Central Gulf Lines Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she was rebuilt and renamed as the Sea Tiger.
In 2000, she was acquired by Garber Brothers Incorporated Morgan City, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.
Rebuilt in 2002, the tug is powered by two, GM 12V-71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc 514 reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.15:1. Turning two 60(in) by 46(in), fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 800 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 40kW Isuzu generator sets. The tug's capacities are 8,500 gallons of fuel, 150 gallons of lube oil, and 4,000 gallons of water.
The towing equipment consists of two, 40 ton, Nabrico face winches.
