Built in 2024 by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull #485) as the Mr. Brian for the Bisso Towboat Company Incorporated of Luling, Louisiana.

The tug was named Brian Cyprowski, Bisso’s Vice President of Operations for the Bisso Towboat Company.

In 2025, the company was acquired by the Moran Towing Corporation of New Canaan, Connecticut. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, Tier IV compliant, Caterpillar 3516E diesel engines. With Kongsberg US205S z-drives. She is a twin screw tractor tug, rated at 5,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 118 W, Tier III compliant, Caterpillar C4.4 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 30,162 gallons of fuel, 9,538 gallons of potable water, 1,442 gallons of lube oil, 1,442 gallons of hydraulic oil, and 2,000 gallons of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF).

The towing equipment consists of a JonRie Series 240 escort winch, mounted on her bow.
