Built in 2023, by Main Iron Works Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana (hull# 473) as the Steve Alley for the Ingram Barge Company of Nashville, Tennessee.

Named after Ingram’s former vice president of external sales, and dry cargo operations, Steve Alley.

In 2024, Ingram Barge Company renamed the tug as The Ingram Way.
