Powered by two Cummins QSK-38 diesel engines. With Twin Disk MG 540 reduction gears, at a ratio of 5.17:1. Turning two 72(in) diameter four bladed, stainless steel propellers, mounted in nozzles. For a rated 2,800 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 65kW generator sets.
