ESSO FLORIDA

Built in 1966, as the Esso Florida for the Esso Shipping Company of Wilmington, Delaware.

In 1972, the Esso Shipping Company became the Exxon Shipping Company of Wilmington, Delaware where the tug was renamed as the Exxon Florida.

In 1979 she was acquired by Cenac Towing Company Incorporated of Houma, Louisiana where she was renamed the Justin Cenac.

In 1980 she was acquired by St. Philip Coastal Towing Company of Tampa, Florida, where she was renamed Offshore Challenger.

In 2015, she was removed from active service. Her current and/or final disposition is unknown.

She was a twin screw tugboat, rated at 1,530 horsepower.
