Built in 1965 by the M and M Flechas Shipyard Company at Pascagoula, Mississippi as the Big Mama for the F and F Towing Company of Pascagoula, Mississippi.

The tug was later acquired by Zito Companies Incorporated of Jeffeson, Louisiana. Where she initially retained her name. In 2008 the tug was renamed as the Altro Donna .

Powered by two Cummins KTA38-MO diesels turning twin screws. For a rated 1,700 horsepower.
