Built in 1972, by Toche Boat Builders Incorporated of Ocean Springs, Mississippi (hull #1048) as the Wooford for Milchem Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 1992, the tug was acquired by Baker Hughes International of New Orleans, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2018, she was acquired by Ivy Marine Incorporated of Daphne, Alabama. Where she retained her name.

In 2020, Ivy Marine Incorporated was acquired by the Whitaker Marine Group of Daphne, Alabama. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, GM 12V-71 diesel engines. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 800 horsepower.
