KITTIE DOWNS

Built in 1890, by James Laird of Ashtabula, Ohio as the Kittie Downs for the Ashtabula Tug Company of Ashtabula, Ohio.

In 1899, the tug was acquired by the Great Lakes Towing Company of Cleveland, Ohio. Where she retained her name.

In 1913, she was acquired by the Breakwater Company of Cleveland, Ohio. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1917, the tug was dismantled.
