Built in 1975, by American Gulf Shipbuilding Incorporated of LaRose, Louisiana as the Roddy Michael for the Mr. Reese Towing Company of Cut Off, Louisiana.

In 1977, the tug was acquired by Larose Marine Service Incorporated of Larose, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Cold Fire.

In 1978, she was acquired by Neighbor Marine Services Incorporated of Marrero, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 1992, the tug was acquired by Tidewater Marine Service Incorporated New Orleans, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 1994, she was acquired Dixie Carriers Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Angelina.

In 1998, the tug was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where she retained her name.

In 2019, she was acquired by Gulf South Marine Transportation Incorporated of Harahan, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Capt. Ziggy.

Powered by two, GM 12V-149 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.11:1. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,700 horsepower.
