Built in 2007, by Rodriguez Boat Builders Incorporated of Bayou LaBatre, Alabama (hull #256) as the Miss Caroline for the DRD Towing Company Incorporated of Marrero, Louisiana.

In 2007, the tug was acquired by the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Lady of Guadalupe.

Powered by two, Cummins KTA38-M0 diesel engines. With Twin Disc reduction gears, at a ratio of 6.39:1. Turning two, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers, mounted in kort nozzles. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,880 horsepower.
