Built in 1975, by Parker Brothers Shipyard Incorporated of Houston, Texas (hull #48) as the Captain Briscoe for the Houston Barge Line Incorporated of Houston, Texas.

In 1992, the tug was acquired by the Magnolia Marine Transport Company of Jackson, Mississippi. Where she was renamed as the Mr. Lampton.

In 2001, she was acquired by the Alter Barge Line Incorporated of Wynne, Arkansas. Where the tug was renamed as the Reggie G.

In 2006, the Lawson and Lawson Towing Company Incorporated of Wynne, Arkansas was contracted to operate the tug.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Wisconsin.

Powered by two, EMD 16-645E7B diesel engines. With Falk reduction gears, at a ratio of
4.345:1. Turning two, 112(in) by 111(in), stainless steel propellers, mounted in kort nozzles. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 5,600 horsepower.

Her electrical service is powered by two, Cummins 6CTA8.3D generator sets. The tug's capacities are 117,336 gallons of fuel, and 1,330 gallons of lube oil.
