Built in 2000, by Bollinger Shipyards Incorporated of Lockport, Louisiana (hull #390) as the Bootsie B. for the Riverway Company of Bloomington, Minnesota.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Alter Barge Line Incorporated of Wynne, Arkansas. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Marquette Transportation Company of Jefferson, Louisiana. Where she retained her name.

In 2011, the Marquette Transportation Company renamed the tug as the Marquette Legends.

Powered by two, sixteen cylinder, EMD 710G-7B, turbo charged diesel engines. With Lufkin 3624 reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.85:1. Turning two, 122(in) by 143(in), fixed pitch, stainless steel propellers, mounted in kort nozzles. She is a twin screw towboat, rated at 8,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 190kW generator sets. Driven by two, Caterpiller 3306 Diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 140,000 gallons of fuel, 7000 gallons of oil, and 30,600 gallons of potable water.
