Built in 2014, by Nichols Brothers Boatbuilders of Seattle, Washington (hull #S-169) as the Delta Audrey for Bay and Delta Maritime Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California.

In 2014, the tug was chartered by Crowley Marine Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California. Where the tug was renamed as the Veteran. Named to honor of United States Military Veterans who have served their country.

In 2020, she was returned to Bay and Delta Maritime Services Incorporated of San Francisco, California. Where the tug was renamed as the as the Delta Audrey.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3516C diesel engines. With Rolls Royce US255FP z drives, for a rated 6,800 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, Caterpillar C6.6 generator sets. The tug's capacities are 70,840 gallons of fuel, 8,000 gallons of water, and 1,400 gallons of sewage.

The towing gear consists of a Markey DEPC-52 winch oufitted on her bow, for escort and ship assist work. And, a JonRie A525 TSW, towing winch. As well as, a Smith Berger tow pin system.
