Built in 2013, by Raymond and Associates of Bayou LaBatre, Alabama (hull #469) as the Champion for the Gatx Corporation of San Francisco, California.

Named for the horse ridden by actor Gene Autry. Having starred in forty-four films produced by Mascot Pictures Corporation.

In 2013, Harley Marine Services Incorporated of Seattle, Washington was contracted to manage, crew, and operate the vessel.

In 2019, the tug was acquired by the Campbell Transportation Company of Houston, Pennsylvania, where she retained her name.

Powered by two, Caterpillar 3512 diesel engines. With Twin Disc 5560 reduction gears, at a ratio of 6:01. Turning two, four bladed, stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. For a rated 3,000 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 99kw John Deere generator sets. The tug's capacities are 40,360 gallons of fuel, 8,000 gallons of water, and 800 gallons of lube oil.

The towing gear consists of two, Wintech, 641L-RC, 65 ton winches. That are remotely operated from the wheel house.
