In 2014, the tug was repowered with two, Tier III compliant, six cylinder, Cummins QSK19-MS diesel engines. With Reintjes WAF374 reduction gears, at a ratio 6.417:1. Turning two, four bladed, 63(in) by 76(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. For a rated 1,500 horsepower.
Her electrical service is provided by two, 30kW, Delco generator sets. Driven by two, Detroit Diesel 4-71 diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 16,000 gallons of fuel oil, 400 gallons of lube oil, 150 gallons of waste oil, 5,000 gallons of water.
The towing gear consists of two, Nabrico 20 ton winches mounted on the bow. Outfitted with 110(ft) of 1(in) cable. And, a single drum, Markey TTC-18, towing winch. Outfitted with 1,000(ft) of 1(in) towing wire.
