Built in 1979, by V and M Iron Works Incorporated of Bourg, Louisiana as the Lisa D. for Ray DuFrene of Lockport, Louisiana.

In 2004, the tug was later sold. Where she was renamed as the Red Eagle.

In 2004, she was acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Delta Teal.

In 2011, the tug was acquired by the Crosby Marine Transportation Company of Golden Meadow, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

In 2012, she was acquired by J. Sercovich Incorporated of Belle Chasse, Louisiana. Where the tug retained her name.

Powered by two, GM 12V71 diesel engines. With Twin Disc 514 reduction gears, at a ratio of 4.5:1. Turning two, 50(in) by 40(in) by 4(in), stainless steel, fixed pitch propellers. She is a twin screw tug, rated at 900 horsepower.

Her electrical service is provided by two, 20kW Delco generator sets, driven by two Isuzu 4JGI-PUO diesel engines. The tug's capacities are 12,000 gallons of fuel, 12,000 gallons of potable water, and 100 gallons of lube oil.
