JAMES J. PERERA (1962)

Built in 1962, by the Burton Shipyard Incorporated of Port Arthur, Texas (hull #327) as the Whiteface for Tidewater Marine Services Incorporated of New Orleans, Louisiana.

In 1994, the tug was acquired by Double Eagle Marine Incorporated of New Iberia, Louisiana. Where the tug was renamed as the Winter Eagle.

In 1994, she was then acquired by the Delta Towing Company of Houma, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the Ralph F.

In 1995, the tug was acquired by Settoon Marine Incorporated of Pierre Part, Louisiana. Where she was renamed as the James J. Perera.

In 2004, she was acquired by the Derrick Construction Company of Rockport, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Mr. Bill.

In 2015, the tug went out of documentation. Her current, and or final disposition is unknown. She was a twin screw tug, rated at 600 horsepower.
