EXPRESS

Built in 1981, by Bayou Shipyard Incorporated of Bridge City, Texas as the Alamo Express for the Alamo Barge Lines Incorporated of Houston, Texas.

In 1985, the tug was acquired by Hollywood Marine Incorporated of Houston, Texas. Where she was renamed as the Express.

In 1999, she was acquired by the Kirby Corporation of Channelview, Texas. Where the tug was renamed as the Miss Rachel.

In 2020, the tug was phased out of active service and was "laid up" at St. Louis, Missouri.

Powered by two, Caterpillar D379 diesel engines. She was a twin screw towboat, rated at 1,000 horsepower.
